Bio

Christine Sarmel is a writer who lives in the Midwest with her husband and varying numbers of spoiled dogs. She holds degrees in music education and educational technology. After teaching music for many years, she remains convinced that few people are braver than 8th graders who sing in public. Presently, she is a school librarian – a job best described as helping students find a book they love as much as Diary of a Wimpy Kid while simultaneously trouble-shooting the 3D printer.

Ms. Sarmel has also been a quality control technician in a test tube factory, a merry-go-round operator, and a piano teacher. When she’s not writing or working, she can be found reading, doing puzzles, and embarrassing the dog with her Frisbee skills.
